Would it be possible to connect this head to a Orange Rocker 32 as an alternative amp?

This is killer, but I dont think it would replace my Strymon Volante. The Volante is 1/3rd the price, can seamlessly switch between 2 presets, can pan the individual heads with no menu diving dead center to anywhere between left and right, and give me a looper to boot. Plus the Volante gives me drum, tape and studio delay modes with an additional spring reverb. I do however own that Magnatone amp and it's never leaving the studio!

I have had a 7 string electric for quite some time and I am 71. I find that when I pick it up I tend to play differently than I would with a six string. Actually makes me more Jazz oriented.

When I bought my 7 string, I couldn’t play simple ‘house on rising sun’ without mistakes. I played six strings all my life, I had NO idea one more string would be so difficult. Determined, I quit playing my 6 string guitar. Everyday i practiced on seven strings, after two weeks I thought I had adapted playing my seven string. But I was lost on my low B string (I didn’t know the notes on low string) Funny because it’s the SAME notes on as 2nd string (B note). I don’t think I realized that for two weeks. For me, i must know the fretboard notes, otherwise I’m completely lost.

Nope, that’s 2 strings too many for me, lol.

Can the pickups be changed?

I have the Boonar , the Echosex 2, the Binson echorec 1 (4 knobs) tube version and although the first two pedals sounding great they are quite different in comparison to the real one

Honestly I like the M Steel highs and the paradigm lows. The cobalt lows were too......twangy? The three were too imbalanced overall, but the msteels highs were less present letting the low come a bit more forward. However the paradigm highs were too punchy. The cobalts I could see being good for like....with a band where you want the guitar to punch through the mix a bit, solo jamming though...I (personally) would call them a pass. For my tone deaf ear, and on this 40in flat screen in the corner of my desk, the paradigm highs were too punchy compared to the lows, but I liked the lows presence without entering that resonant booming region, and lack of twang. So id be interested in hearing the M Steel highs, and the Paradigm lows together.... Full disclosure, I play dirty strings, hate new strings, too bright, too crystalline......Give em a week of finger gook and it really tames that new string shimmer into the sound I like to play.

I wish I could play a guitar like you Brett. By the way, after hearing how good it sounds, I have purchased the same model AT92. I put a set of 9s on and it sounds great, only one dislike... it's bloody heavy Lol.

Ahh the most privelidged generation in the history of the planet. It's costs too much, pity about all the hard work, research, design and personal sacrifice that went into the development of something like this. Yes it could be $750 or something but who is prepared to carry the cost and loss so other people can have their indulgence? Silence, that's what they I thought......

Its good but doesn’t seem to have the magic of an original - clear but somewhat sterile. I will try it out though as you can’t always tell on You Tube. I have an original Binson Echorec into my 10-yr old Magnatone Stereo Twilighter (fantastic amp). For gigging I use a Catalinbread Echorec.

Way way way too pricy. I have the original boonar and its really really nice. But 1200$ for the deluxe?!? Way too much

I had never heard of the binson echorec until Mick and Dan covered it on That Pedal Show. Still one of the best episodes, watching them lose it over the original unit they featured. “Epic!!”

I’m sure this is awesome, has some great features over the normal Boonar…. but a bit out of my budget

Why is it not stereo?

Are there menu options to add modulation separately to the aging knob so that you can get modulation without darkening the sound?
